Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, Cloud Strife cosplay

Cloud Strife + quick post work - :iconamenokitarou:
Photography plus brilliant post work - :iconbeethy:
Photo picked out by the awesome Wensy!

It's finally here guys, after months of delay due to busy schedules~!

Note: the series of spam that you're about to be flooded with, doesn't feature the 6 part sword due to wet weather on the day of the shoot. The sword will be worked on for nice effects and details and shot at a later date :)

The shot: This was one of the shots that both :iconbeethy: and I didn't think was rescue-able when we looked through the shots...so didn;t bother trying...but then apparently the awesome Wensy of awesome came home and said it could be done....and now I'm dying from blood loss....
Taken in one of the warehouses on Cockatoo Island. The whole place was very Midgar-ish which was great~ :3
Also this piece of glass the one Hugh Jackman jumped out of! *swoons*
The reflections and the machinery through the glass somehow emitted this mako green light which was really freaky.

Costume (Cloud): Knitted vest was bought and altered to fit.
The sleeves, belts and skirt are made from a raggy, square grain material which I found at a local martial arts gear fabric store. Similar things can be found in spotlight but more expensive. All belts and sleeves and skirt are finished off with white top stitching.

Shoulder guard: Shoulder pad was shaped with foam, then covered with pleather. Then the double lines of white top stitching were hand sewn onto the edges.

Wolf head ornament: Shaped and sculpted from Sculpey (oven dry clay). sanded to finish, and then painted for extra metallic shine.

Buckles: were also handmade by me, because the available buckles in stores within 30 km radius of my area all didn't satisfy me..... T_T

Enjoy ^^
