Ahhh... *teary eyes* My absolute favorite line in AC Complete. This scene single-handedly converted all of my anti-Cloud-power into manry manry tears.

This deviation is dedicated to ~urusai-team <3333


The shot (s): When I was going through all the shots to pick out the best few for deviations, I ended up with over 9 shots that I absolutely adored. (It's very rare that I like more than 5 shots from any single shoot...)
So in an attempted to avoid a deviation flood, I had a try at making an FFVIIAC Complete promotional style wallpaper.

Top left corner: This was the shot taken with the illegally parked bike outside 's work~!

Bottom Left: One of the other shots of Cloud resting on his sword that I really loved.

Centre: THE Cloud pose.

Top Right: A shot under a massive black roof that reminded us of the plate that covered the Midgar slums.

Bottom Right: "This time, I will protect you" pose. There is just something so touching about someone looking over their back....

All of these were taken outside epic work place. Stormy overcast made everything look Advent Children. Post procressing included desturating the photo slightly, downing the contrast slightly, and burning some places for more defined shadows. blah~


Useful Info

Costume: Knitted vest was bought and altered to fit. The sleeves, belts and skirt are made from a raggy, square grain material which I found at a local martial arts gear fabric store. Similar things can be found in spotlight but more expensive. All belts and sleeves and skirt are finished off with white top stitching.

Shoulder guard: Shoulder pad was shaped with foam, then covered with pleather. Then the double lines of white top stitching were hand sewn onto the edges.

Wolf head ornament: Shaped and sculpted from Sculpey (oven dry clay). sanded to finish, and then painted for extra metallic shine.

Buckles: were also handmade by me, because the available buckles in stores within 30 km radius of my area all didn't satisfy me..... T_T


Weapon: Built entirely of Foam core boards, with a wooden core in the centre sword to support everything else. The sword can be disassembled into the 6 separate blades. The centre sword, can open and close in and out of the battle mode. These are done by making wooden pegs inside the centre blade.
Everything is pretty simple about the making of this weapon since it was quite the rush job. Most techniques utilized can be found performed at most primary school art classes.
