Infinite Undiscovery - Liberator I by AmenoKitarou Infinite Undiscovery - Liberator I by AmenoKitarou
"I must not falter!"

We shot close to the water... I, being me, naturally wanted to jump INTO the water...
And so I give you this shot. I am so happy about how shiny those water drops are. hur hur.
Now excuse me while I continue to name pictures after Kajiura soundtracks...:iconhurrplz:

Infinite Undiscovery, Sigmund
I wore this as an entry to the Gold Coast prelimary round of the Madman National Championships, and placed 3rd place :D

I will have a video of my COMPLETELY irrelevant skit uploaded very soon.

Costume made and Worn:

Costume details:
Armour: a combination of plastic, fibreglass and foam strips. See for details.

Coat: I patterned the thing out of a matrix coat pattern :iconhurrplz: because those patterns usually have EPIC flair. The orange part is satin lycra and the black is just pleather. Details on the collar and hems were hand painted.

Leatherwork: All belt were hand hand and rivetted. His front patch and butt patch were hand stitched with wax thread. (you can't really see it in this shot though...)

Sword: Thin MDF. Runes were craved by a table router, then the edge was hand sanded. All bevelled details were made from foam strips. The paint job was done in 5 steps: black coat, silver dry brush, white dry brush, silver blending, then varnish.

If you want to know more, feel free to leave me a comment :) :) :)

Enjoy! :iconhappyblueplz:

Oh YES! Wonderful! Especially the fact that there is life, movement and not just still posing! And water - ah, making it a little more than "mere" cosplay, and bringing the character truly alive! Brilliant. And, such a great shot, too, with the colours of the well-made costume and everything...

I am always amazed how you're unafraid to join INTO the water in full cosplay. *O*
