Here comes a new challenger
Street Fighter IV, Chun Li and Vega cosplays
I now take a break from old photo back logs and present to you something fresh from yesterday's event!
We found this fence-up place on the side of the convention venue and thought it would be a great look for this game. Also check out that legendary timing of the wind blowing on Chun Li's flap~ bahahaha
Vega made and worn by:
Chun Li made and worn by:
Photography and touch up:
I know Vega goes by a different name in different regions... (Balrog??)
So if you know him by any other name, please let me know what his name is and what country you are in
Costume notes:
Pants: these were TIGHT. Made from spare fabric from Gurren Lagann. The purple is this cheap suiting fabric. I chose to use those shiny fabrics because I wanted to make him look like a cage fighter.
Claws and bangles: These were cut and shaped from PVA plastic sheets. All the details were cut out from a separate layer then contact bonded on and shaped with heat.
The painting was done with black undercoating and gold dry brushing, finished off with super gloss wood varnish.
Enjoy
