About the Costume There's really nothing special about this one as it was made in 4 days alongside the staff. Just a bunch of free handedly cut panels sewn together... But the top is trimmed with invisible sewing techniques...and those pants pockets are epic huge.
The gold little parts are rubber/foam shapes covered with gold vinyl fabric.
The giant belt was similarly made with brown pleather. The giant buckle was cut out of PVC plastic and the giant button wholes are actually little oven clay donuts that I made look like holes.
About the staff The staff head is a couple of layers of 3mm MDF wood, with all of the details grooved with a power router. The pole is 4 sections of a PVC pipe, so it can be taken apart. A Black layer of undercoating pant was done to it before lightly spraying the whole prop gold to achieve the weathering effect.
